Positive and negative thread connection sleeve is a type of steel bar straight thread sleeve. The positive and negative thread type sleeve is suitable for connecting steel bars in non rotating areas such as bent iron steel cages.

How to distinguish between positive and negative thread sleeves: You can hold the threaded connection sleeve with your right hand. If the helix angle of the thread is facing the thumb direction, it is a positive thread; If it is the opposite, it is a reverse thread. This way, everyone can easily distinguish between them. That is to say, the buckle can be rotated clockwise to move in and counterclockwise to move out. Reverse buckle: It can be rotated in and out when rotated counterclockwise. Alternatively, it can be identified by the sleeve steel seal: the one marked with BF4 is the positive and negative wire sleeve, and BB4 is the positive wire sleeve.

During the construction process, when the supporting beams, wall columns, and transfer layers are finished, and a steel bar has been fixed by concrete, and the tail of the movable steel bar is twisted and cannot rotate 360 degrees, a forward and backward (bi-directional) sleeve should be used. First, screw the sleeve into the positive end of the steel bar thread head with 2-3 threads, then align the steel bar to be connected with the reverse end of the sleeve, and retract the rotating sleeve by 1-2 threads. At this time, both sides of the steel bar are screwed into 1-2 threads, and then use a steel bar wrench to rotate the sleeve to complete the installation.

The specific connection method of the positive and negative wire connection sleeve is as follows:

1、 Move the two connected steel bars to the two ends of the connecting sleeve, and rotate the connecting sleeve to smoothly screw the two steel bars into the connecting sleeve;

2、 When the steel wire head is screwed into half of the connecting sleeve, observe the number of exposed threads on both ends of the connecting sleeve that have not been screwed into the steel wire head.

3、 After confirming that there are exposed threads on both ends of the connecting sleeve and the quantity is equal, use a special work wrench or pipe wrench to rotate the connecting sleeve, so that the steel wire heads of the two connected steel bars are locked against each other in the middle of the connecting sleeve.
